Stay With Me
If one man sins against another, God will judge him. But if a man sins against the Lord, who will intercede for him?” Nevertheless they did not heed the voice of their father… 1 Samuel 2.25
This scripture is pretty potent even if pulled out of context but in context? The end was not good for Eli’s sons. Read the whole chapter if you want to know specifics.
I Was Horrified
When a friend told me she was going to vote for the pro-choice president, who happens to now be in office. Horrified and grieved. On January 20th, 2021 I made a conscious decision to put an abortion counter on every single blog post of 2021. I’m not sure you’ve noticed, but the numbers are increasing at a steady pace.
Make No Mistake
Abortion is a sin against God. God, the Creator of Life. The God who breathes into every single human being their breath to live. Make no mistake, the blood of each aborted baby cries out from the ground and God hears every single whimper.
President Biden signed an executive order Thursday afternoon reversing the Mexico City policy, permitting U.S. aid money once again to fund groups that provide or promote abortion around the globe.
I don’t want one dime of our money funding or promoting abortion around the globe and I’m being pretty vocal about it. No blood on my hands, please.
My Point Is This
We must have the courage of our convictions – we must. Don’t be afraid to speak out loud what you believe. Our God is bigger than any of this and He has your back IF you honor Him in all you do. It is one of those, “You do this and HE WILL DO THAT.”
My suggestion for all of us is to dress in God’s armor every day. Keeping the belt of truth cinched around our waist – ready to fight in the spirit. We’re in a real battle, y’all – fight hard – we’re in the ring together.
My heart breaks every time I hear about pro-choice victories. They are not victories at all, but instead nails in the coffin of innocent babies.
Amen, Barb, amen.
May we keep fighting on our knees for the innocent and unprotected. May the Lord turn the hearts of people back to Him. May the Lord also bring healing and forgiveness to those who have had abortions thinking this was their only option. There is so much to be praying for where this issue is concerned. May we be faithful to keep praying.
May we be faithful.
You know my heart Sister and so does the Father. Abortion is never right. I wish I could a counter on my FB page which I rarely go to anymore but I would.
We need boldness from Believers, don’t be a wimp!
I’m not.
Good job! I appreciate how you lead us well in this and stick to your convictions! Thus, spurring me on to stay grounded on the truths of God’s Word!

Tammy
XO thank you, Tam.
Oh, Susan ! You are like a voice crying in the wilderness and I appreciate it. It is harder and harder in this country to stand for conservative values……..GOD’S values that are completely based on HIS WORD. There are a lot of hard-hearted folks………..folks who have been deceived even though they once knew Him…..it is horrible. I will stand for LIFE always. ALWAYS! I had the choice of abortion put in front of me when I got pregnant unwed at age 17. Who put that choice in front of me? It was my PASTOR! And I was not serving Jesus at that time but something in me KNEW this little life was not to be snuffed out. He is 50 now. Thank God for that small voice I heard. You are so right on……..we MUST have the courage of our convictions. As always I thank you for writing something so very important.
And, thank you for the encouragement.
Matthew Henry has an interesting commentary about Matthew 2: 16-18 – when Herod killed the male children under two, calling them Martyrs for Christ. My heart breaks because it seemed our country was making such strides to stop this! Thank you for standing strong and being a voice for what is right!
Thanks Maryleigh. I will never stop standing for LIFE.
Susan,
I am just horrified when I looked at your abortion counter. It is truly a travesty – what is allowed in our country and in the world!
Blessings,
Bev xx
It is kinda “in your face” – isn’t it? My intention. Love you Bev.
Amen Susan, and again I say Amen. I am so grieved by the past, present, and future murder of God’s unborn creation. Just last week I was crying tears in prayer for these little babies of Christ. My heart is heavy. Blessings.
So is mine, Paula. Let’s never stop praying.
