Maybe the question should be, “What didn’t we do in November?” The one thing I have learned about the readers of HopeHeartHome? You all love lists and pictures – so let’s get started.
One. My hubs was nominated and voted “MVP” of the company he works for. Very proud of you, boyfriend!
Two. Girlfriends are the best – had lunch with my three Tennessee besties on the 5th. What’s said on girlfriend day, stays on girlfriend day.
Three. College girls coming home for the weekend and driving ONE HOUR out of their way to visit Mimz. Thank you, Hannah and Courtney.
Four. November opened WARM, by the 7th, mornings were cold and the heat has not gone off. HASTE SPRING!
Five. Election Day. Selah. #iamnotdevastated
Six. 11.11.2016 Hubs & I celebrated 34 years of marital bl——, oh, okay, bliss! 😉
Seven. Go Flames! Road Trip to Lynchburg VA and home of Liberty University for college football! We met our daughter and family there. What a fun 24-hours.
Eight. I love when out-of-town friends invite themselves to supper the night after you get back from being out-of-town. ROTFLOL! Love you Paula & Ken!
Nine. I’ve added another book to my series of 31-Day books. 31 Days in the Gospel of John. Could this one be my favorite?
Ten. Unexpected Acts of God’s Love. I received one from my friend Mary G. A HOPE magnet. Why? #becausehopechangeseverything
Eleven. Books. Too many in the stack. Still working on Ann Voskamp’s The Broken Way. It is so very, very good. I am reading it S-L-O-W-L-Y, in order to savor it.
Twelve. Thanksgiving weekend was wonderful. A couple of missing faces at the table but I try hard to be content with who is there and trust the Lord to work it all out. My daughter’s high school friend and her family dropped by as they drove north on I-77. I hadn’t seen Susan since their high school graduation – it was wonderful seeing her and her lovely grown daughters and handsome hubs! Special!

Fourteen: THE CROWN on Netflix. You must watch.
Fifteen: My friend, Holly Barrett, interviewed me on her program, “Living a Redeemed Life.” You can listen to the podcast here (episode 68).
Sixteen: We had a mail delivery from an elf on the shelf, Kelly in Maryland! Delicious winter tea!
Seventeen: November’s disciplines of Read Pray Move went along without a hitch!
Eighteen: November’s wreath was exchanged for Christmas! I wonder what we’ll do in December.

What a full month! I’m still slowly working through The Broken Way, too. I gave it a good skim but I haven’t had much time to really sit down and slog through it.
Slog slowly! xo
LOVE Winter Spice tea! That’s a Christmas staple here. Fun that you thought to take a picture of it.
Could we indulge in a Kristmas kindred kuppa! xo
So enjoyed hearing about your November and wonderful photos!
Our congrats to Lowell!!
Praying for you Ali.
Pumpkin n Spice n everything nice. November took us to New York for a niece’s beautiful wedding with all Mike’s siblings n his many niece’s/nephew’s n their newest children. 50 degrees n I wore my long John’s. Our great grandson turned a year old n our great grand daughter 3 months. Aches n pains, hip therapy, cortisone shot but I ain’t on a walker yet. 30 years a maillady did me in. Come on Santa….new bones for hugs Merry
Merry, drink the collagen I mentioned in my 16 favorite things. IT WILL HELP.
Ahhh….I l*loved* The Crown. I binged watched watched the whole season in 2 days 15 minutes into the Gilmore Girls reunion. I just couldn’t GG! And yes on The Broken Way. That really is a slow read, isn’t it? And a re-read I think because it’s so dense with good stuff. I hope December is blessing you!
Perhaps a few re-reads!!!! xo
So glad you had a full and satisfying November, Susan! And I love “Mimz!” Is that what your grandchildren call you? How cute and spunky, just like it seems you are! Thanks for giving us a peek into your busy month and congrats on the interview and book!
Mimz’ it is! I like it too!

Such an exciting month! Happy Anniversary!
I love what you said about the election. No matter who any of us wanted in the white house, God is still God. Amen.
And Ann’s book…..I have it, but I’m waiting to read it. I know I’ll need time. Time to process and appreciate the beauty of her prose. I’m looking forward to digging in after the holidays!
Wait for the snow to blow in January and have a stout amount of hot tea ready!!!
Wow, you were busy, but I sense that you enjoyed every minute of it, if I know anything about you. 🙂 Always love reading your lists!
Blessings to you, sweet sister! Love you! xo
