Nine months. It took 9 months — from listing to sale. I feel like this is my fourth pregnancy! But, this time instead of a sweet baby we will have a 17′ Casita camper trailer and maybe a new small pickup truck. Destination: Adventure!
This past week we passed three important tests: appraisal, termites, and water. I have spent every night at the flat since Saturday and hubs is still going back and forth. The accumulation of stuff is a bit overwhelming. Most of it is here to go through at my leisure and dispose, donate, or distribute!
Just when I think I’ve got a handle on organizing, another carload shows up. The following are photos I took just yesterday. Enjoy!
The beginning of my office! Up in the loft room.
What will be our dining table, bar the working man boots, fan, purse, and all other miscellanea.
The back wall of living room, under the stairs to the loft office.
This original built-in hutch is to the left of the front door and to the right of the photo above.
Bedroom mantle. It’s pretty without all the stuff around it like boxes and shoes!
The living room mantle with items that shouldn’t be there!
The master bathroom clawfoot tub. Very original, complete with exposed pipes and right now a holding tank, perhaps I should say tub.
Master bathroom, original vanity.
Our bed in bedroom. The grandkids had to You Tube “putting together a Sleep Number bed” – we took it apart but lo and behold we couldn’t remember how to re-assemble it!
I promised you a pictorial of our progress – hope this suffices for now! I have a few boxes to unpack and the doorbell is ringing and Sam needs to be walked.
Urban living at its best!
I’m linked up a few places but maybe just too tired to add the links!
