Some resist it.
Some love it.
Some fight it.
Some welcome it.
Personally, I love change – it means God is up to something and since all good things come from Him – let it roll!
Of course there are difficult changes; the death of a loved one, a bad report from your doctor, and undesired relocations. But during these times, although surroundings and circumstances are changing around and in us, we must depend on the character of our never-changing, ever-available heavenly Daddy and His ever-the-same GRACE!
I am quite certain Isaiah 43:19 (look it up!) will appear often this month in blogs and devotionals, to confirm that our God, who never changes, is often found to be doing a new thing! Serving God and being active in ministry (and all believers are, in one way or another) is never boring and frequently offers great challenges. I want to be found excited and up-to-it, not stale or stagnant.
To everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under the heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV) Let’s make October 2011 a time of …
- healing
- building up
- laughing
- dancing
- embracing
- loving
Let’s live October with passion!
Season to season, day to day…things do change. Great blog. Happy to you!
I have always liked change for the most part. When change is difficult I remind myself of the verse that says: All things work together for good to those who love the Lord……….
I Know that. I am not the person that I use to be.
However today, I am not the person that I could be.
Nor am I the person, that I will become. in the future.
Trusting you Lord to Get me where I need to be.
“He who began a good work, will be faithful to complete it ……in me”.
Change me Lord, to be more like You!
