Sonday morning found me in Tammy Mashburn’s beautiful kitchen pouring a mug of coffee and reaching for one of her “breakfast cookies” – I know, right? Tammy and I went to a social meetup with a group of women we are members with at The Consilium Facebook group. The meetup was as fun as it sounds and Patti Krank of OldThingsNew is the perfect hostess, along with her husband Doc and their two sweet furry friends. We enjoyed great conversation and discussion, a fabulous lunch, and even a fun craft!
But, back to these yum-o breakfast cookies!!! Here’s a little blurb from Tammy:
I created this recipe some fourteen years ago. It’s been tweaked to perfection over time and shared with many a friend. I call them breakfast cookies, because I love a sweet with my morning coffee. Tossing old habits and my usual go-to junk, I was striving for a healthier choice, with protein, natural ingredients, easy to make, and plain ole scrumptious with a cup of strong Columbian coffee.
Don’t you love Tammy’s coffee station? Those are the cookies in the cookie jar and the little pumpkin to the right? That’s the craft we did at Patti’s. A succulent-topped mini pumpkin!
The printable for the recipe is below. But, first I wanted to show you how God showed up and showed off for us in Tammy’s backyard:
See the H? He was saying, “Hi!”
Here’s your printable:
Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. 3 John verse 2
Sounds WONDERFUL!!!
Kathy
Are these something you could guiltlessly eat?
Thank you, thank you Sweet Friend!
Lots of hugs!
My pleasure! Now, to make them!
I love that you too got to gang out.
I really enjoyed hearing about your trip, the pictures and the recipe. I plan on trying it soon! Thanks
