Eat More Kale!
Raw Kale Salad – Pastor Ron Drake
Make a lot – this stuff is addictive!
Ingredients:
- Bowl full of rough-chop Kale (masticate with your hands)*
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil (drizzle over kale)
- Sea Salt sprinkled over kale and oil
- Add chopped tomatoes
Dressing:
- 1 T. almond butter
- 1 green chile – chopped
- 1 clove garlic – minced
- 1 – 1/2 tsp. honey
- Splash of Bragg sauce (Worcestershire if you don’t have Bragg’s)
- Water, to thin out dressing
Mix the dressing with the kale and chill and serve! Be creative add some options: dried cranberries, golden raisins, almond slivers – whatever suits!

just learned about Masticating kale! only my friend calls it massaging! question: do i need to masticate kale that comes chopped in a bag? not that I don’t need the exercise – just curious! thanks and I will try this. Oh and will peaunt butter work instead of almond butter? have you tried??
The chopped kale in a bag only requires a rinse and a massage! But be sure to use a good oil with the massage! 😉
