One of the “bestest” parts of blogging? The people you meet. I’m not sure how Sue’s and my paths crossed but cross they did and we have become fast friends. We are the seasoned ones! The gals over 60! We carry that banner with immense pride too! You see when you’re older than dirt, like us, it brings a certain amount of grace and a ton of wisdom. Sue is mentor-extraordinaire. I should be her mentee! (IS THAT A WORD?) I told her I didn’t have a mentor’s bone in my body and she quickly pointed out that whether I wanted to mentor or not, I was one, just by the fact that I write a blog.
I suppose she is right so what’s the point of arguing? This sweet book is designed for anyone with a desire to come alongside women, or men, and lead them forward in their walk with Christ. The book is short but jam-packed. You can purchase the book on Amazon here. And, to get in on Sue’s wisdom on a weekly basis? Check her blog out here. She is a fabulous hostess with the mostess and when hubs and I take off on 2020Vision? One of our stops is San Luis Obispo, CA – where Sue, and her man in the plaid shirt, are going to feed us well! I can hardly wait!
Here’s a printable of a couple of Sue’s sure-winning recipes:
Bon Appétit!
I love it when we read the same books.
This has been a particularly wonderful book launch with friendly faces on the team. I’m glad Sue sassed you about your pronouncement that you’re not a mentor.
Thankful for both of you! (And all your sass!)
Sassy Sus!!!! I like it.
I learned my sass from Susan – yes, you ,and I do wear my age like a banner – Meg’s readers call me Aunt Sue. I wear that, too, as soon as I take another nap.
It was a blast to write this little book — and even more of a blast to form this launch team (you mentored me in that, dear friend.)
Do you like your pancakes w/ blueberries or chocolate chips?
Thanks for your great review – xxx
I don’t like pancakes or crepes. I prefer eggs as in omelettes. You’re welcome.
ps
you’re so right: what’s the point of arguing?
Absolutely, NONE.
