Tasty Tuesday – All Things Winter with Logan L Wolfram

December 27, 2016 by admin 3 Comments

In the early fall of 2015 I was part of a Facebook group for ALLUME 2015 – Logan L Wolfram, Executive Director, host, and hospitality artist of the event was an active participant on the group page. In other words she was approachable, responsive, and very much a real person. At the event Logan was in her element! Her passion for the Gospel was electrifying – her desire for unity was a contagion – and, her hospitality skills on full display! I liked her immediately.

Logan is homemaker extraordinaire! She sews, decorates, makes jewelry, and cooks – I want to be her neighbor! She is wife to Jeremy, Mom to two rambunctious boys, and dog-Mom to two canines!

Logan’s book, Curious Faith, shares intimate heartbreak and how she is learning to rescue the now of life. Her current “now” is a busy, full life – reaching out with hands of caring and true hospitality. This South Carolina lady practices what she preaches!

If you would like a copy of Logan’s Winter Warmers cookbook, visit her website here and sign up. Easy peasy! Just think 30 recipes perfect for your winter menu planning!

Here’s one printable from the ebook to whet your appetite:

You can learn more about Logan here on her Amazon Author Page.

Bon Appétit!

Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. 3 John verse 2

Kate said FRESH Here we go again! Adjective Adv Kate said FRESH

Here we go again!

Adjective Adverb Noun

The Very First

thing that went through my mind this morning?

Don’t be so fresh.

That is what my mom would say to anyone who said something crass, off-color, or…well, FRESH!
My mom was a character – my friend calls people like my mom, “Catbirds!”
I’m not even sure where my mom’s version of fresh fits in. Any help is appreciated!

Fresh

I do like the idea of something smelling fresh.
A fresh coat of paint.
A fresh outlook.
A fresh perspective.
It is fresh on my palette (regarding taste).
Sheets hung on the clothesline smell so fresh!

Look what I found…

They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, 15 proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; He is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in Him.” Psalm 92.14-15

So…

At this point, on this dreary Friday morning – I am going to go have a fresh cuppa coffee. And, I intend to remain fresh and green, bearing fruit in my old age!!!
