Closing the month with a funny! Ha! Ha! Ha!
As I’m writing this post the smell of beef stew is wafting up the staircase – that gorgeous aroma of Thyme! When the wind is blowing, the temps dropping, and the socks are fuzzy there is nothing quite like a pot full of something tasty and steamy!
Today’s soup recipe printables are: Creamy Butternut Soup (ez-pz and a repost from years ago) and, from my sweet online friend in California who I have crowned Queen of Hospitality, a yummy French Onion Classic made in the crockpot! Sue Donaldson, of Welcome Heart blog, and I have become the sort of friends one can send a message requesting a recipe and within five minutes there are five downloads in your email in-box! She is a treasure and I am telling you the truth – this woman is a serious Queen of Hospitality – she entertains more than anyone else I know. One day, one sweet day, hubs and I are going to park our camper and truck in the driveway where she shares a home with the man in the plaid shirt and we are going to sit at their table and break some pretty awesome bread together! It is a day I fully look forward to.
In the meantime – LET’S MAKE SOUP!
Bon Appétit!
Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. 3 John verse 2
