September 23, 2016 by admin 40 Comments

I did go to the party last night but my Twitter feed wasn’t working quite right and my brain was in fog, thus I did not stay long! Our host, Kate Motaung, who does a fabulous job each and every week was there (of course) with tales of Guinea Pigs and kids! Someone else mentioned… [Read More]

31 Days in Proverbs

November 1, 2015 by admin 10 Comments

This is my second year to accept the challenge to Write 31 Days on one topic, every day in October. Last year’s challenge was such a life-changing experience for me I could not say no in 2015! A few things have changed but, you the reader, will never see those behind-the-scene changes. All summer long… [Read More]

testimony tuesday (a few ramblings)

November 18, 2014 by admin 6 Comments

When I did the 31-day writing challenge last month I wasn’t sure if it would be like “old news”. My journey of Hope has been long and arduous, and, of course, because I am a real person with a real life, the journey continues every single day with every single breath. In fact yesterday was… [Read More]

i love to tell a story

November 5, 2014 by admin 26 Comments

Before writing anything else I want to thank you for hanging in there with me during the month of October. The 31-day writing challenge was incredibly good for me. Much needed exercise for a writer! Writing those posts was a balm of Gilead to my soul. I remembered things the Lord had told me through the… [Read More]

31 days of hope

September 24, 2014 by admin 1 Comment

Who doesn’t love a good challenge? The Nester, Myquillyn Smith, hosts this 31-Day Write challenge every October where about two thousand bloggers choose a theme and write 31 posts and publish one each day on their blog. I love the idea, and although this is the fifth year of Write31Days, I only learned of… [Read More]

I finally wrote something today. I'm not one to ju I finally wrote something today. I'm not one to just write words for the sake of writing. They have to have meaning, purpose. These were inspired by my June discipline of reading 5 psalms a day. Way back at chapter 37 David penned some pretty profound do's and don't's. They have been simmering for a couple of weeks. They're ready now. Hopehearthome dot com.
