The Age-Old Question What exactly IS the age-old question? Can you guess? For people of faith the age-old question is, How can I know God’s will for my life? So, How Can We? There are several ways to do this. The simplest (to me) is doing the next thing and if God doesn’t roadblock it,… [Read More]

It dawned on me - surrender

First: This move has taught me many things. As I walked last week I felt the Lord say to me that the realization of wanting and needing to relocate was a surrender.  Isn’t that an interesting concept? I am not a contemplative writer, nor a contemplative thinker. But, I do ponder and my heart and spirit… [Read More]

Even retired, I love weekends. Sunny and warm for Even retired, I love weekends. Sunny and warm for us is a bonus! This particular weekend is sweet and sorrow mixed. We get to travel a couple of hours with Gracee in tow, Lowell gets to see his civil war armaments comrades, and we will have lots of time with favorite grandson, Simon. But, we also bear the sorrow of missing our friend, Jimmy Reavis, at his celebration of life. James left this earth on March 13th after a battle with cancer, chemo, and its horrid side effects. It's a weekend of hello's and good-bye's. Life is like that, isn't it? I'm so grateful for the Hope my faith provides. Cannot imagine a weekend like this without it. 💔 ❤️
