Quarterly Report – 4th Q 2020

December 29, 2020 by admin 16 Comments

October 2020 October was a good month – I think partly because it’s my birthday month! My favorite color is OCTOBER! Our son and girlfriend came and stayed with us for a few days as they explored the area around Upstate SC. While they were here, the tiny house village had a Low Country Boil… [Read More]

Quarterly Report Q2

My Quarterly Report I find it beneficial to look back over the three months to take note of the things I did, the places we went, the people we saw and to consider how blessed we are to be able to do, go, and see. Do you look back in your journal or day-planner and… [Read More]

Quarterly Report: Q-1

Quarterly Report I enjoy doing this report four times a year. Monthly is too often for me but quarterly is perfect. And, it is good for my soul to go through the planner and see how the days were spent. I have learned the truth about a saying I saw years ago – not sure… [Read More]

Quarterly Report: 1st Q 2018

April 4, 2018 by admin 40 Comments

Last fall I stopped doing my monthly recap – I’m not quite sure why. Since I love change I decided to change things up a bit and do a quarterly report. There is a term used in accounting, GAAP, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, referring to standards for financial reporting. A quarterly report reminds me… [Read More]

Kate said fix Today, I come to confess. Dun Dun D Kate said fix

Today, I come to confess.
Dun Dun Dun Dun…

I used to be a FIXER.

Family problems? Not to worry I will manage, manipulate, and fix it. The only problem? It gets expensive and very stressful.

Fixing is bad for your health.

I have learned

There is a Fixer better than myself. This Fixer can and will FIX anything and anyone IF you ask.
If you release.
If you give it up.
If you lay the object of fix on the altar of sacrifice.

Sometimes…

There is an immediate fix. Sometimes The Fixer will ask you to sit still and do nothing. Sometimes The Fixer will use you in the fix.
But THIS I know…

The Fixer really doesn’t need any help from me.

So, What Does One Do?

We pray and our prayers keep The Fixer involved, on the scene, and in the situation.

The Fixer

Do you know Him?

But may the God of all grace [THE FIXER], who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.11 To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 5.10-11

Who or what are YOU trying to fix? Give them/it to The Fixer!
