The Age-Old Question

May 18, 2021 by admin 14 Comments

The Age-Old Question What exactly IS the age-old question? Can you guess? For people of faith the age-old question is, How can I know God’s will for my life? So, How Can We? There are several ways to do this. The simplest (to me) is doing the next thing and if God doesn’t roadblock it,… [Read More]

Hi-Ho Hi-Ho It’s Off To Write We Go!

April 30, 2019 by admin 36 Comments

Not me, Lord.

When you feel like laying it down. Stick a fork in me, I’m done! And, so my Tuesday morning rolled on. Tuesday’s are writing days for me but today? I just couldn’t get passed graduation invites, photos, addresses, and pretty postage stamps! Then lunch time came and it dawned on me I did not have… [Read More]

Gleaning – the first welfare system

March 19, 2019 by admin 28 Comments

GLEANING!

Bringing in the sheaves! I am a believer in the welfare system – for what it was originally set up to do. To HELP someone out who is in a bind and to get up on their own two feet. I was a single Mom for years and I would have qualified but there was… [Read More]

Guest Posting at Jaime’s!

July 27, 2017 by admin 1 Comment

“So, why a book for children?” I was asked that question in 2013 when I began 52 Commands of Jesus for Children. I don’t remember my answer then but now that the book is finished and on the great big bookshelf at Amazon I can clearly look back and see the “back story” of… [Read More]

Quietude: July 23rd, 2017

July 23, 2017 by admin 5 Comments

Photo Credit: Will Wilson I grew up in South Florida and water was an enormous presence in our world. We went to the beach. We went deep sea fishing. We sat on the inlet walls fishing for sheep-head. We had picnic suppers at the end of hot days. We walked the pier. We hunted shells…. [Read More]

Five Minute Friday: Steady

June 23, 2017 by admin 36 Comments

No Twitter, no party, nothing but sleep for me last night and early! Before it was even dark:thirty. BUT, in the early hours of morning, before the sun broke through the clouds I had a dream. And, I dreamed about Tara and Anita and some of the nurses at Nonnatus House (Call the Midwife) and… [Read More]

Five Minute Friday: WORTH

June 16, 2017 by admin 18 Comments

Finally, I made it to a Five Minute Friday Twitter party – the app on my Kindle was cooperating and I almost kept up with all the posting! Several new faces. Several regulars. And, some missing in action! Summer plans were talked about and general information shared. One of our FMF faithful community members is… [Read More]

Why I Write

June 14, 2017 by admin 46 Comments

I’ve been thinking about this question a lot. Why do I write? Last week I decided to create a Facebook Author page – I just (self-) published my tenth book and thought perhaps it was time to have a page dedicated to my writing. I’ve even done a bit of promoting to the tune of $15.00!!!… [Read More]

These were inspired by my June discipline of reading 5 psalms a day. Way back at chapter 37 David penned some pretty profound do's and don't's. They have been simmering for a couple of weeks. They're ready now. Hopehearthome dot com.
