Hezekiah’s 15 minus 1

August 24, 2022 by admin 12 Comments

Update On August 21, 2022 I celebrated my one year ‘anniversary’ of surviving congestive heart failure (CHF). My self-named year of probation is over! You see, last year when all of this happened I asked the Lord for 15 more years (or more) of healthy life – the same amount of time He granted Hezekiah… [Read More]

He Still Moves Stones

April 18, 2022 by admin 21 Comments

Stones I know a thing or two about stones, rocks, and gems – my husband is a “rockologist” and a faceter of rare stones. Plus, we lived in the Blue Ridge Mountains of the Appalachian Mountain Range for thirty years. There, rocks grow like weeds. Seriously. De-rock a plot and in one year? It’s filled… [Read More]

Quarterly Report 2021 – Q3

September 28, 2021 by admin 10 Comments

Why a Quarterly Report If truth be told, and I am a truth agent, I do these for me.  I like to look back at the three months and take inventory, per se. But, this third quarter of 2021 was admittedly one of the worst periods of my life. I was quite unwell. July The… [Read More]

Glory To Glory

June 29, 2021 by admin 24 Comments

I Mean Really When your friend says that – what do you say? God bless you. He holds the whole world in His hands. If it’s God’s will… I’ll pray. God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Although, those statements are true – they just don’t roll right off your tongue… [Read More]

Hubs was tending his garden bed out in the corner of the common area and almost stepped on this Momma lake turtle, laying her eggs. He went away and returned hours later and found she had dampened the area and laid sticks on top! He framed it out in pic 3. 60 day incubation and then all those wee turtles will find their way back to the lake!!! How cool is that? #lakelife #tinyhousebiglife #fromfarmtoflat2tinyhouse
Yellow doors scream, "You are welcome here! Come i Yellow doors scream, "You are welcome here! Come in! Rest and peace are found within these doors!" 5 years ago this month we left this house, our home for 30 years. We raised one son here, and for A LOT of summers, the old squeaky screendoor opened and closed with the joy of grandkids. Fireflies, a front porch bat, pussycats, dogs, goats, turkeys, and oinkers grazed the 14 acres. The ring of a blacksmith's anvil clanged for years as my husband designed and created beautiful ironwork. The best goat cheese hung from cheesecloth in its kitchen. Puzzles took shape on the old dining table, and Mexican Train domino challenges snaked along its patina'd surface. Blueberries were picked. Grapes simmered and bubbled into homebrew! But seasons change. Kids grow and leave home. We grew and left. Happy memories. Love grew there, and for that, we are forever blessed. Sweet, sweet memories.
