The Broken Record Is On Repeat

February 23, 2021 by admin 22 Comments

Hope On Repeat! Remember LP record albums? Yes, me too! And, how, if they had a flaw in the vinyl it would play on repeat? That’s how I feel about HOPE! Most of you know my story but in case you don’t, you can read that here. Hope IS What We Need Not wishing upon… [Read More]

Able

February 16, 2021 by admin 22 Comments

He is Able Do we believe that God is ABLE to do anything? Are we ever doubtful? Do we find ourselves saying, “THAT will never happen.” I am Guilty! But, I am learning to say, “Unless God performs a miracle, thus and so will never happen.” Or, “God can do anything He wants to but… [Read More]

Joy – The Third Week of Advent

December 15, 2020 by admin 20 Comments

Advent Joy! I grew up in Sunday School – my grandpa was, what we referred to, as the Sunday School Superintendent. He opened SS and led us all in peppy, fun choruses. One of my favorites was… ♫ I’ve got the joy joy joy joy down in my heart – WHERE? – Down in my… [Read More]

HOPE – the first week of Advent

December 1, 2020 by admin 20 Comments

Celebrate Advent! We don’t have one of those clever Advent calendars with chocolate candy or felt figures but we do have a December calendar and know it is the beginning of the Great Advent of Jesus Christ. Two thousand plus years ago, a baby was born in Bethlehem – not any baby, mind you, but… [Read More]

Why Did He Run?

November 17, 2020 by admin 27 Comments

New Revelation Is there anything better than new revelation? When something becomes clear and so very understandable. I sure do. This epiphany came this past Sunday morning as we streamed church. Right here in tiny house, Holy Spirit delivered a wollop! Ready? The Prodigal Son I have always loved the story of the lost son… [Read More]

The Flood Is Coming

November 10, 2020 by admin 14 Comments

Noah – remember him? I think one of the saddest things in the Bible is this… And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and HE was grieved in HIS heart. Genesis 6.6 I mean, doesn’t that break your heart when you read that? The Flood Is Coming So, over… [Read More]

Five Minute Friday – Ahead

November 6, 2020 by admin 26 Comments

What’s Ahead? “Anything coming?” Hubs asks as we drive along a two-lane country road. “Nope, all clear to pass.” I reply. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could say that about the future in America? But, we cannot. When All Truth Is Told… Not one of us knows what is ahead. No one can ‘guess’… [Read More]

Can Anything Good Come Out of 2020?

November 3, 2020 by admin 22 Comments

Do You Remember? When Jesus was selecting His disciples? He found Philip in Bethsaida and invited him to, “Follow Me.” It is believed that Philip immediately went to his friend Nathaniel, aka as Bartholomew, and excitedly told him that he had found The Man that Moses and the prophets had prophesied about, Jesus of Nazareth,… [Read More]

Kate said permission. Wow! What a word. I think I Kate said permission.

Wow! What a word. I think I will go “there.” That proverbial place one doesn’t like to venture. THERE.
But, I have permission!

God or man?

Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the Name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to Him? You be the judges! 20 As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” Acts 4(NIV)

As a believer AND a follower of Christ – who grants me permission to do anything? With great discernment and faith, I trust my good, good Father to allow me or to withdraw me.

He Is My Guide

I will not listen to a government I do not trust. My peace comes from heavenly places and it gives me permission to say no to certain things. I follow man’s law regarding speed limits. I pay taxes. I don’t steal. But when it comes to my body?

The Temple of Holy Spirit?

I ask permission of Father. When He says yes or no I listen to His every word and reason.
Who gives you permission?
