A Look Back at 2021

December 29, 2021 by admin 16 Comments

Looking Back I’m going to deviate from the normal quarterly report and look back at the entire year. I’m already late to this week’s blog writing, thus, I’m sabotaging the normal. July 27, 2021 by admin 2 Comments

On Getting Old I was standing at the double sink of our 1950’s farmhouse in the Blue Ridge Mountain Range of the Appalachian Mountains. My gaze set on the eight blueberry bushes and the long row of heirloom white grapes – elbow deep in dish soap bubbles and my 17-year old son, my “baby,” came… [Read More]

June 2, 2017 by admin 14 Comments

Yes, Kate Motaung, I was at the FMF Twitter Party. I knew you saw me although I did my best to remain invisible! But at 9:18 p.m. I realized my eyes were closing and my Kindle was falling. I was long gone into REM sleep at 9:45 when you said… 00:00 The future. What does… [Read More]

Getting My Groove On and 2020 Vision

March 22, 2017 by admin 48 Comments

Last Thursday morning I was sweeping the kitchen floor and the epiphany came. The day before that I had published “Preaching to the Choir” where I confessed to you, my awesome readers, I haven’t always been so ‘together’… ha.ha.ha. That particular day I was seriously doing the next thing. Here’s where I am going to interrupt myself… [Read More]

we can’t go back – or can we?

January 14, 2015 by admin 16 Comments

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3.13-14   We’re at the… [Read More]

They're ready now. Hopehearthome dot com.
