Five Minute Friday: Strong

July 16, 2021 by admin 17 Comments

Kate said strong. My first-born son was asked in an 11th Grade class, “Who is the strongest person you’ve ever met?” His answer was simply two words, “My mom.” I was floored when he told me that. Floored, and flattered! My first two kids went through the hard with me. The separation and the divorce…. [Read More]

Five Minute Friday: Deserve

July 2, 2021 by admin 12 Comments

Kate said deserve. In all honesty, what DO we deserve? You can look back across the great expanse of history and see the depravity of man due to the original sin in Eden. What do we deserve? Probably, nothing. But then… God in His mercy, looked out upon humanity. The clumsiness and calamity and said,… [Read More]

I finally wrote something today. I'm not one to ju I finally wrote something today. I'm not one to just write words for the sake of writing. They have to have meaning, purpose. These were inspired by my June discipline of reading 5 psalms a day. Way back at chapter 37 David penned some pretty profound do's and don't's. They have been simmering for a couple of weeks. They're ready now. Hopehearthome dot com.
