Five Minute Friday: Gentle

April 2, 2021 by admin 14 Comments

Kate said gentle. Odd word for this Good Friday 2021. Gentle. One thing that pops into my mind is… The Romans were not gentle with Jesus the night of His arrest. The Price He Paid Was anything but gentle.  Jesus was brutally beat. … was heinously tortured. Jesus was pierced. He was humiliated. Yet, He went to… [Read More]

Five Minute Friday: Enable

February 26, 2021 by admin 24 Comments

Kate said enable. My very first thought was related to addictive behaviors. Like, co-dependent, enabler. I’ve been both. I am not any longer. I am not an addictive type – but I have enabled. And, I will never do that again. Did You Know? God is an Enabler! O! My! So much so. And I… [Read More]

February 5, 2021 by admin 16 Comments

Kate said sunrise. \o/ Singing! Sunrise…Sunset… the song from Fiddler on the Roof. Anyone? Kate said permission. Wow! What a word. I think I Kate said permission.

Wow! What a word. I think I will go “there.” That proverbial place one doesn’t like to venture. THERE.
But, I have permission!

God or man?

Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the Name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to Him? You be the judges! 20 As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” Acts 4(NIV)

As a believer AND a follower of Christ – who grants me permission to do anything? With great discernment and faith, I trust my good, good Father to allow me or to withdraw me.

He Is My Guide

I will not listen to a government I do not trust. My peace comes from heavenly places and it gives me permission to say no to certain things. I follow man’s law regarding speed limits. I pay taxes. I don’t steal. But when it comes to my body?

The Temple of Holy Spirit?

I ask permission of Father. When He says yes or no I listen to His every word and reason.
Who gives you permission?
