Abundance – An Update & A Giveaway!

October 20, 2020 by admin 26 Comments

One Word 2020 I wonder if anyone thought choosing abundance as my one word 2020 was on the arrogant side. Did you? I almost did but Holy Spirit gave it to me and wouldn’t take it back. He’s not an Indian giver. And, He also gave me the scripture to go along with it… Listen to… [Read More]

Quarterly Report Q3 2020

Man! Did I Ever Mess Up! I need a lesson in seasons and quarters, I guess! September is part of the third calendar quarter and I totally skipped over it. Last month I posted Q3 with a look at June, July, and August! Oops! So, let’s try it again and I’ll include September – after… [Read More]

Five Minute Friday – Church

September 18, 2020 by admin 30 Comments

Church

Kate said church If Covid19 taught me anything, it taught me that church is not a brick and mortar structure. It’s flesh, bone, and spirit. One can “have” church in their living room, their front porch, their back deck, or standing outside with neighbors. Church is people, in one accord, praising and worshiping the One… [Read More]

I Am A Kept Woman

September 8, 2020 by admin 18 Comments

A Kept Woman

A Kept Woman! I’m not ashamed, I am a kept woman! Are you? My heritage of faith. Grandma Emily Chamberlain prayed John 17.15 over my sister and I our whole lives. Keep them from the evil one and sanctify them with Your Truth. Now, we pray those words over our children and their children and… [Read More]

Stir Us Up!

Stir Us Up!

Stir Us Up! When a big event occurs, whether global, personal, or spiritual, I am of the belief that if it directly affects us then it needs to directly change us! So, Covid19 was/is big and I want to come out of it changed. I’m re-thinking a lot of things. *But, these riots and violent… [Read More]

Five Minute Friday: Stay

June 5, 2020 by admin 17 Comments

STAY

Kate said STAY From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. [They did not STAY with Him.] 67 Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?” 68 But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69 Also we have come… [Read More]

Five Minute Friday – BORN

May 29, 2020 by admin 19 Comments

FMF - BORN

Kate said born I have zero idea where this will go. Five minutes. Born I wonder how many babies have been born during C19. I wonder even more how many were unborn, due to abortion? Isn’t it odd that churches closed but heaven forbid the Planned Parenthood clinics did not. My neighbor works for an… [Read More]

Five Minute Friday – Forward

May 22, 2020 by admin 27 Comments

FORWARD!

Kate said forward With last week’s word being “normal” – and nothing is, what is there to look forward to? Webster’s says forward is… In the direction one is facing or traveling; toward the front. I am a forward-thinker but I am not a political progressive; in fact, I am extremely conservative – I’m just… [Read More]

Even retired, I love weekends. Sunny and warm for Even retired, I love weekends. Sunny and warm for us is a bonus! This particular weekend is sweet and sorrow mixed. We get to travel a couple of hours with Gracee in tow, Lowell gets to see his civil war armaments comrades, and we will have lots of time with favorite grandson, Simon. But, we also bear the sorrow of missing our friend, Jimmy Reavis, at his celebration of life. James left this earth on March 13th after a battle with cancer, chemo, and its horrid side effects. It's a weekend of hello's and good-bye's. Life is like that, isn't it? I'm so grateful for the Hope my faith provides. Cannot imagine a weekend like this without it. 💔 ❤️
