Peace – Jesus Has Come!

December 22, 2020 by admin 16 Comments

Peace Has Come At Last Mandatory vaccines. Fraudulent elections. Crooked politicians. Russian Collusion. Anything but peace, eh? What a time to be alive. My grandma Emily was sure she would witness Jesus coming in the clouds of Glory and taking her home to heaven. Her body failed her and she died of natural causes at… [Read More]

Bible Review – NIV Study Bible

October 22, 2020 by admin Leave a Comment

NIV STUDY BIBLE From Zondervan is a substantial work!  Weighing in at approximately five pounds with 2,480 pages of Comfort Print, illustrations, maps, helps, cross-references, and study notes. I would consider this a stellar study tool – perhaps not the printed Word you would carry to church or Sunday school! It is meaty, beefy, and… [Read More]

Who Has The Keys?

Who Has The Keys?

Who Has The Keys? We went back to “real church” this past Sunday. A friend told me the pastor was going to begin teaching a series on Revelation. I like John the Revelator’s book – in the year 2000, after my hysterectomy, I began a deep dive into the last book of the Bible because… [Read More]

The ONLY Difference

The Only Difference

The Only Difference Ever since all of the unrest in this country I have had numerous soul-searching moments. I have asked The Lord to search me and see if there be any wickedness in me (Psalm 139). I have asked my family members to point out things about me that are not right. (And, they have!!!) But… [Read More]

40 Days

40 Days

40 Days I am not a numerologist; however, numbers are important to God because He recorded them in His Word! They have to mean something and I believe in the Jewish culture they are crucially vital! I have seen numerous posts on social media about the 40-day stay at home order and how it relates… [Read More]

As In the Days of Noah

As In the Days of Noah

Debby Downer I mean, I’m on a roll – you can call me “Debby Downer” or a “doom & gloom” writer but y’all this stuff can’t be made up. We are bombarded every single day with horrific scenes on social media. Political crap. Rampant immorality. Non-binary identification. Moms wanting little boys to have sex change… [Read More]

On One Condition

On One Condition

Conditional Promises There are many conditional principles in life, aren’t there? IF we study properly and learn the material, we will pass the exam. IF we obey the traffic laws, we won’t get a ticket. Two things that are unconditional (off the top) are God’s love and parental love. There really isn’t much we can… [Read More]

Kate said fix Today, I come to confess. Dun Dun D Kate said fix

Today, I come to confess.
Dun Dun Dun Dun…

I used to be a FIXER.

Family problems? Not to worry I will manage, manipulate, and fix it. The only problem? It gets expensive and very stressful.

Fixing is bad for your health.

I have learned

There is a Fixer better than myself. This Fixer can and will FIX anything and anyone IF you ask.
If you release.
If you give it up.
If you lay the object of fix on the altar of sacrifice.

Sometimes…

There is an immediate fix. Sometimes The Fixer will ask you to sit still and do nothing. Sometimes The Fixer will use you in the fix.
But THIS I know…

The Fixer really doesn’t need any help from me.

So, What Does One Do?

We pray and our prayers keep The Fixer involved, on the scene, and in the situation.

The Fixer

Do you know Him?

But may the God of all grace [THE FIXER], who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.11 To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 5.10-11

Who or what are YOU trying to fix? Give them/it to The Fixer!
