Always make me melancholy! Especially when it is like the twelfth consecutive day of rain. My goodness, even the cows in the meadow are laying low! Don’t get me wrong I love the rain and I even like rainy days but enough is enough! It is beyond my thinking how people live in Oregon or Seattle; I just cannot be sunshine-starved too long.
So, what does one do on rainy Wednesdays, when one is committed to posting a new, fresh blog? And, one only feels like crawling under the sheets and screaming, “HELP!”
This “one” scans some old photos and it makes me smile! Enjoy!
My mom’s handwriting – just because I’m feeling melancholy!
For as rain and snow can’t go back once they’ve fallen, but soak into the ground and nourish the plants that grow, providing seed to the farmer and bread for the hungry, so it is when I declare something. My word will go out and not return to Me empty, but it will do what I wanted; it will accomplish what I determined. Isaiah 55.10-11 The Voice Translation
