Your children will have authority over the enemy.
Praying for our children in Autumn
The season of change in upon us.
Prayer changes things because prayer changes us!
Psalm 127.3-5 (NLT)

The quiet hour of prayer is one of the most favorable opportunities He has in which to speak to us seriously. In quietude and solitude before the face of God our souls can hear better than at any other time. O.Hallesby
When He gives quietness, who then can make trouble? Job 34.29
On Sondays I linkup with other Sunday Thoughts over at Mom-gene!
The Lord has been teaching me so much about resting in Him, being still — cease striving, and remember that He is God. Thanks for the reminder.
Nan, thanks for coming by and visiting. I plan to lurk around your site this week. xo
My kids are always in my prayers. Because they are always on my mind, and in my heart. I cannot not pay for them. And I cannot begin to thank The Lord enough for answering my prayers according to His promises.
“14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” – Ephesians 3:14-19
Isn’t it the truth! Thanks for commenting.
Amen! There is so much power when we are still – in Him.
Thanks for the reminder to pray for our children and grandchildren and to spend time in quiet fellowship with our Lord.
Blessings,
So much power!
Thank you for this precious reminder- especially this:
When He gives quietness, who then can make trouble? Job 34.29
He has us and our children in the palm of His hand. Thank You, LORD.
O for grace to trust THAT more!
Susan, so simple and so profound. I have specific verses I pray for my daughter and each grandchild. God is good to love them even more than I do!
Amen, Debbie…how can it be?
GOOD one!
XO
I love these verses! We always say prayers with the kids at night, but I also say prayers for each one of them when I wake up. I pray over their day and their hearts and what they will learn. And I pray for myself as their mother that I will do the right thing, even when it is hard, and remember that God is the parent to all of us.
