O! Taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusts in Him. Psalm 34.8
November conjures thoughts of gratefulness, thanks-giving, food, family, friends, and gathering around the table.
I actually love Thanksgiving, the holiday, more than I like Christmas.
There’s something about celebration without expectation.
The gathering around a table with those you love and good food warms me from my head to toe.
Lingering. Talking. Discussing. Laughing. Belly-aching.
I love it all.
I wish all the places at the big table were filled but there are missing faces, empty spaces.
Yet, The Lord is over all and He is ever so worthy of our feasting on His goodness and His grace.
Now, if you celebrate HIM? You can EXPECT Him to show up.
Is there a place at the table for HIM?
