May, the month for all women to be celebrated!
Growing up I was blessed to have a godly Mom and Grandma who continually poured good and Godly things into me.
I wasn’t always appreciative!
My Grandma Emily prayed John 17.15-17 over my sister and I every single day, when we began having children she prayed over them also. We have a legacy of prayer – and now, we pray these same scriptures over our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
I often think of those who have no one praying for them. I am reminded of the woman at a college in Raleigh NC, in housekeeping, and she would go about her work and pray for the students as she would see them. She was burdened knowing that some had never been prayed for. The students had no idea she did this – but you see, it was the legacy she was leaving over that University campus and its individual students. There is such power and passion in her story.
I know all about generational curses yet in my family we have been left with generational blessings.
We are blessed.
What am I, what are you, leaving as legacy?

Lovely!

Beautiful, Susan. Such a blessing to have praying parents! Love you! xo
Deuteronomy 6:4-9!
Oh what a beautiful legacy! I pray that my children and grandchildren will grow up remembering the prayers that were given on their behalf. It is such an honor to pray, isn’t it? Thank you for these encouraging words!
We were just talking about people who have no one to pray for them. There are many out there. The invisibles. I got a request from one recently. Someone I really didn’t know well but she had a friend who needed prayer for a very serious health issue. “I know you pray, please pray.” I do pray and I am praying. Sometimes all you have to do is ask. At Publix the other day, a lady who helped me as I ordered salami…do you pray? Yes, I do. She took me aside and asked me to pray for her brother and herself. Wow…salami and swiss cheese when Holy Spirit is involved can “show” someone you pray!
