Jehovah Shalom; The Lord is Peace
All of us have titles: daughter, sister, Mom, Grandma, Aunt, wife; God has literally hundreds of titles: The Rock, The I Am, Lily of the Valley, Bright and Morning Star, Friend, and the list is long!
*God defeats our enemies to bring us peace. Jesus is our Prince of Peace. God brings inner peace and harmony.
Now may the God of peace—who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood…Hebrews 13.20
For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9.6
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Tell Aaron and his sons to bless the people of Israel with this special blessing: ‘May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.’ Numbers 6.22-26
