Not sure anything says summer more than a basket of fresh-picked blueberries! We have blueberry bushes and this year we got one good picking and then the birds came and enjoyed the rest. You see we forgot to protect our crop by putting netting over the bushes, and, we love our birds around here so we kind of just laughed and said, “Aw, how many can they eat?” The answer to that? They have stripped the plants of all things blue! I’m sure there is a spiritual lesson in there but I’m not going there today. Today, I just want to say that our God is good – ALL THE TIME. And, He loves this world and ALL the people in it. He warned us there would be trouble and oh are we ever seeing trouble in our day. I don’t know about you, but I’m going to run to Him and take refuge in HIM, not in a politician or a political party, not in an army or a naval fleet. But IN HIM. He says if we do that? He will bless us. And, you know what? I believe Him.
Let’s put our HOPE in Him and His Word.

Amen to putting our trust in God who is our hope. Standing in agreement with you that #hopechangeseverything
Keep standing with me. Hope loves company!!!
My trust, also, is in Him and in nothing else. The last few months have been a much-needed reminder that not only He is my constant but that He is sovereign and that nothing — NOTHING — happens that hasn’t passed through His hands first. What a comfort in a world that seems to have gone mad.

Thank you, Gayl…I hope you do too.
