The quiet hour of prayer is one of the most favorable opportunities He has in which to speak to us seriously. In quietude and solitude before the face of God our souls can hear better than at any other time. O.Hallesby
When He gives quietness, who then can make trouble? Job 34.29

Amen!
My faithful Quietude reader-friend!
Thank you Susan for such a glorious thanks to Jesus. Sorry if I missed your Five Minute Friday post. I am here today seeking wisdom and refresh from my fellow writers. Blessings upon your Monday. In Christ, Julie
Julie – not to worry a second about that! I hope you find the wisdom and refreshment you are seeking today!
Amen Susan! It’s all about him isn’t it?
It is ALWAYS and ALL WAYS ALL ABOUT HIM!
“Because of everything you have done for me, today I am free.” I AM FREE. This makes my want to click my heels like they do in cartoons. Thank you for getting me excited about Jesus on a Monday morning : )
That’s what Jersey girls do!!! (((xo)))
Love this, Susan. And I completely agree. When I take time to pray in the mornings, my thoughts are still unfettered by the day’s to-do’s, and I can be more still in His presence.
Great words, Susan!
Thanks for coming by Jeanne.
