Jesus Lamb of God; Jesus is our Sacrifice
All of us have titles: daughter, sister, Mom, Grandma, Aunt, wife; God has literally hundreds of titles: The Rock, The I Am, Lily of the Valley, Bright and Morning Star, Friend, and the list is long!
*Jesus is the Fulfillment of the whole sacrificial system especially as our Passover Lamb (Hebrews 7.26-29). As the Lamb of God, Jesus’ sacrifice pays for our sins past, present, and future.
The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! John 1.29
…but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot. 1 Peter 1.19
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!” Revelation 5.12
For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 7.17

When He gives quietness, who then can make trouble? Job 34.29

Jesus, the perfect sacrificial lamb, is a theme woven through the whole Bible. Thank God for His once and for all sacrifice for us!

I’ve recently added a new title, Granna. 🙂 But thinking about God and his many, many titles is overwhelming! He plays so many roles in our lives. We are truly blessed!
Granna, welcome to the best club on earth. Love, Mimz’ xo
