Progress can be either a noun or a verb. Kate said progress, not sure which one she meant!

I am making such progress as a writer. (noun)
I am progressing as a writer. (verb)

You are smart and see the difference, I know!
Let’s talk about progress
The noun. I have made a lot of progress in my writing. I have self-published over 20 books since 2004. I have bored everyone to tears with my Instagram book posts in recent weeks! But, it’s okay – I am almost finished with that campaign.
John 17 – The Real Lord’s Prayer is the last book I published. And, is the last work mandated by Holy Spirit. I had known for three or four years He wanted me to write that book. I finally did. It’s the progress I made during Covid 19!
How am I progressing?
Verb. Quite well, I believe. Legacy is the reason I write. I incorporate family stories, traditions, and truths into every book I create. It is very important to me that my children, and their children, know where they came from, our values and core beliefs. My mom was the family historian but she has been gone since October 2012. That baton has been handed to myself and my older sister. We try to carry it well and complete the race!
Wrapping it up!
It is important for us, as human beings, to progress (verb) through our lives. Because it is healthy and beneficial for us as a person to know we are moving forward and growing. Staying still and stagnant is detrimental to both our physical and mental health, progress (noun) is a sign of being grounded and confident in who God created us to be!
