Before writing anything else I want to thank you for hanging in there with me during the month of October. The 31-day writing challenge was incredibly good for me. Much needed exercise for a writer! Writing those posts was a balm of Gilead to my soul. I remembered things the Lord had told me through the years and I took the opportunity to re-anchor those promises to my heart. There were over 1600 bloggers participating in the challenge and if you are interested in some great reading, creating, organizing, decorating material check it out here. I made new friends and learned various new DIY project ideas. Here are some of my faves:
The Froelich Diaries – Cherie turns trash into treasure!
The Hope Diaries – This brave woman tells of a failed marriage and the story to save and restore it.
So I Married a Youth Pastor – Liz talks about “breaking religion.”
Abiding Love, Amazing Grace – Karrilee wrote on “rest.”
Beth Willis Miller wrote encouragement for 31 days!
With Love, Beth – 31 days to her “new normal.” (see link below for a give-away)
Everyone did a phenomenal job with their themes – it’s amazing there weren’t more rabbit trails, surprisingly most stayed on topic!
I’ve said this before and will probably say it again, we all have a story to tell. And, we need to share it. Your story will encourage me and mine will encourage someone else – The Word clearly states that we go through trials in order to help others when they go through theirs, 2 Corinthians 1.3-4.
If YOU have a story you’d like to share, send me an email and perhaps I can post it here for others to learn from.
Whether you share it or not, we all have one…
Linked with Simply Beth today and a give-away!
