I’m Stuck On Hope!
I do love the Season of Resurrection Hope – aka Easter! Nothing speaks Hope like an empty tomb. On Friday this week, we will grieve. On Saturday, we are quiet and pensive. On Sunday morning, we celebrate.
Jesus is alive and well and sits on high in Heaven. What a glorious Truth to celebrate with all the traditions we’ve come to love during this season of Hope.
Eggs will be decorated and hid. Chocolate bunnies consumed. Jelly beans chewed until gummy! Hams baked and potatoes peeled. All to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
For those who don’t know the Greatest Story Ever Told, or have not partaken in the miracle of salvation and new birth in Christ – it’s just a pretty holiday to wear a new outfit and perhaps go to a Sunrise Service.
But, for us Jesus followers, it is the magnum opus of our year! Jesus is alive. Jesus forgives sin. Jesus gives new life, and Jesus IS coming again. I know because I’ve read the end of the story!
This Season…
It is my earnest prayer and hope that YOU will call upon Him who was crucified, buried, and resurrected and put your whole trust and hope in Him. Life is so much better with Christ in it.
Death
In recent weeks we have said earthly good-bye’s to three precious loved ones. All suddenly and unexpected. I know for a fact that each one of them had placed their hope and trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior and one day we will see them again. Knowing that is a peace beyond earthly understanding – it is our eternal Hope of Glory.
My Hope
Is for each of you to know beyond a shadow of doubt that Jesus is alive and well and dwells within your heart. I can guarantee it is a decision you will never, ever regret.

P.S. In the book section of my blog you will see books I’ve written that are filled with Hope – my favorite topic. Also, if you search Susan Chamberlain Shipe on Amazon you will see my books – covering a wide variety of topics – with one common thread – HOPE!
amen, that is true.
IT IS TRUTH!
Amen he is risen
He is risen indeed!
Amen! Susan!
My HOpe is Built on Nothing LEss the Jesus Christ!
& His righteousness!
Susan, what a beautiful post. Yes He still is Risen – our glorious Savior – our Hope!
Our Hope of Glory!
Amen! What a blessed hope we have, because Jesus conquered death! Hallelujah!
And, to think we can call Him “Lord.”
My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus’ blood and righteousness!
He makes weak, strong!
YES, He does.
So sorry Susan to hear of your saying good-bye to loved ones in recent weeks but rejoice with you in the Hope you have of seeing them again. I know as I lost my Mom recently how much that Hope of being reunited in heaven sustains us on the hard days!
Donna, I lost my Mom 11 years ago and miss her every day. Yet, Hope tells me we will meet again!!!
Amen, Indeed He is Risen. Powerful words and reminders of His Truth.
