I went to the #fmfparty last night, but I was one-hundred percent wallflower. I.never.said.a.word. I was tired and lethargic. I waved from a distance but no one even noticed. Big wink inserted here. One thing about an online, Twitter party – you are totally invisible unless you type ‘hi’ and hit “tweet.” I didn’t wait around for Kate Motaung to announce the word prompt either. This morning I jumped on Kate’s website and saw the word UNITED. Then, as I usually do, I clicked on my friend Andrew’s site to see if he’s still with us and I don’t know if it was grogginess or if it was intentional but he wrote on UNTIED.
Yes, definitely, noted.

Every Friday morning before I write one word, I jump on Kate’s site to look for Sylvia…Sylvia is a dog and belongs to my friend, Andrew. Sylvia is a rescue dog, Andrew thinks he rescued her but if truth be told, Sylvia rescued Andrew. Andrew is very ill – unless God performs a miracle, AND WE ARE PRAYING FOR THAT, he will go beyond the gates way too soon. Through Five Minute Friday, the Lord has united my heart with Andrew’s (and his wife, Barb)…
As a matter of fact, this FMF community is one of the most UNITED groups on the worldwide web – we stick with one another. We support one another. We encourage one another.
And, if one of us goes missing in action.
We get UNTIED.
Sylvia, take care of our friend.

How beautiful Susan! Trying to unite with your ladies this morning, but as usual the words aren’t coming with this prompt. They will as I go about my chores today cleaning and getting ready for company coming from Houston today. Reading of few of my #fmf friends posts hoping to come up with an idea.
Remember it’s the slow and steady, Debbie.
Lovely. Just lovely. Thank you. Blessings to you, sis!
And to YOU, Mari-Anna!!!
Sweet words, Susan. I didn’t tune in to the #fmfparty last night until after the prompt was given. I got caught up in something else and lost track of time. Usually, I’m hanging on to stay awake!
I sure was last night, Deb…so tired!
Susan, this is just beautiful! I love how Andrew’s mistake caused you & now all of us, to realize how God brings us together and unites our hearts. Amazing post!
Joanne, I’m so glad you said that because I wasn’t quite sure if I should hit publish or not!
I looked last night and didn’t even notice “untied.” I too check on Andrew first thing, and have been concerned as of late, his posts this week have been non posts. Heaven will truly be a glorious place… we will all be united despite our differences here on earth
Christy, I believe we are all untied over our Andrew.
Hia Susan, such a beautiful post. I’ve definitely come to love FMF (as you know!)…and I also check for Sylvia pretty much the first thing I do as I see Kate’s posted her FMF post….have a lovely weekend, Helen xx
Helen, see? That’s how UNITED we’ve all become.
Very beautiful, Friend! I will be looking for Sylvia and praying as well!
XO
Tammy
Tammy, as I close my eyes at night there are several many names I whisper to Father, yours is one of them. xo
I missed you last night. And yes this community is really gift. Great post. I’m over in the #7 spot this week.
Reading YOU tonight!!!
Susan, thank you for this; from me, and most especially from Sylvia.
She has a very hard job now. At night she rests on a cushion by my head, with her nose next to mine, so she can tell if I am still breathing.
Several times (i don;’t keep a journal, but at least four) she has seen me stop breathing, and jumped on my chest, barking into my face. No one, including Barbara, interferes with Pit Bull CPR.
e are so grateful for the FMF community. All of us.
XO and waggy tails. (Syl has the most charming wagging-the-tail-means-wagging-the-whole-dog thing you have ever seen!)
