Kate said, “SECRET.”
I love this photograph – look at the little girl’s eyes! She seems to be delighting in her mom’s secret. I wonder what Mom is telling her.
Don’t tell your brother but we are going to have a special girl’s day today. Shhh. You cannot say a word. It’s a secret between you and me.
I know a few secrets – sworn to secrecy and I honor secrets. IF you tell me something personal and private I will not share the information. I usually say, “They’d have to cut my tongue out.” Now, that’s a gruesome thought, isn’t it?
But I want to honor secrets.
God shares His secrets with those who dwell with Him. ( I can’t believe how well this word prompt goes with my newest book, 31 Days of Praying Psalm 91!) Thanks, Kate!
He who dwells in the SECRET Place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and fortress; My God, in Him I will trust. Psalm 91.1-2
Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until He reveals His plans to His servants the prophets. Amos 3.7 (NLT)
I find that quite amazing, do you?
My time is up – and I’ll let you in on a secret (not really a secret) but if you click here and go to my Wednesday post and leave a comment you can be entered in a giveaway of my new book and matching prayer journal!
