What a delicious word!
I am not a sweet-loving girl – I love savory food. I’ll pick the grilled chicken breast over the glazed donut any day of the week (why don’t I weigh 100 lbs???).
The Word says our worship is a sweet, sweet fragrance wafting up to the throne of Heaven! Our good, good Father savors our worship.
Isn’t that a beautiful word image?
What Do I Savor?
This past Thanksgiving, amid Covid and all, our extended family gathered in a fabulous Air BnB in South Florida for 4 glorious days of fellowship, fun, and food!
I savor the memory – ALL my people were there. And, I cherish the memories. Like a delicious filet mignon…
I savor all the moments making up that weekend.
What in your life do you savor?
Sweets or Savory?
Your lips drop sweetness as the honeycomb, my bride;
milk and honey are under your tongue.
The fragrance of your garments
is like the [savory] fragrance of Lebanon. Song of Songs 4.11
