Kate said, “RAIN.”
Here in Statesville, NC, we need some.
We lived in the mountains of northwest North Carolina, in the Blue Ridge Mountains of the Appalachian Mountain Range – also known as the eastern Rain Forest, for thirty years. And, it rained all the time. We went days without seeing the sun and for a gal raised in sunny south Florida there were times that got quite difficult.
Rain is a good thing – no argument there, but there are times enough is enough!
Just ask Mrs. Noah. She suffered from SAD. Seasonal Affective Disorder!
That’s a bit of a stretch – but don’t you think? There are times I felt like she must have.
But, then the sun eventually comes out. The sky turns blue. The grass is greener. The flowers more vibrant.
The puddles deeper.
Today, I would love a blustery day – a Winnie the Pooh day.
It would be my favorite day!
