Kate said question
Wow, what a word – I could just ask you a bunch of questions! And, hopefully, you would comment and tell me all the answers. LOL!
But I won’t do that.
Funny, right this minute I am texting with a co-worker and asking him where a place is here in Statesville. I have asked him a dozen questions. I’ve been there but don’t remember!
We ask questions all day long
What time is it?
What should I wear today?
What should we eat for lunch?
Do you want a cuppa tea?
What is for supper?
So I have a question for you
IF JESUS IS THE ANSWER – THEN WHAT IS THE QUESTION?
It’s not a trick question, promise! I wrote a blog a while back with that title – you can read it here.
In all honesty? He is the answer to every and any question you might have. You know why?
He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. (John 14.6)
Do you know Him?
If the answer to that question is a no, then I would love to introduce you to my very Best Friend. The One who sticks closer than any brother or sister. The One who never sleeps nor takes a nap. The One who sacrificed His life so you can live eternally with Him. The One who wants to reside in the deepest recesses of your heart.
There’s your answer.
To every question – you know, the ones that matter. He doesn’t care what we eat for dinner just as long as He’s at the table with us!
Listen y’all, my friend Mary Geisen is celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Tell Us Your Story linkup this week with a fabulous give-away. The gifts are books and a great FairTrade bundle of goodies. Be sure to go over and leave a comment and be entered to win. You can get there by way of right here!
Love this! Jesus is my BFF too. He gets to hear all my complaints, sees my tears and holds them in His jar. He hears my joy, my sorrows, my concerns. He gives me HOPE always, Joy in the Morning. Help me BFF never to forget how much you love me, and how close you always are to me. Always within even a whisper!
BFF’s. Amen.
Good morning Susan, what an honor to Jesus! Bless His name! The answer to ALL questions. Thank you for this faith food Susan. Have a great weekend. In Christ, Julie
How was the play? Review soon? xoxoxo
Susan, the show Jesus was phenomenal. God speaks through art, through obedient actors speaking His truth. I learned, I laughed, I gasped and cried. What state are you in?
We live in Statesville NC, one hour north of Charlotte off the I-77 Corridor.
WOW… I wrote my #fiveminutefriday post after seeing your encouragement to write on our 31-day survivors page. It looks like I read yours and then wrote mine… But, I didn’t 😀 Once again, we are on the same page sister! Love you & appreciate you! I’m just getting to the point that I can write about the past 18 month and actually publish it – ha ha!
Good for you. That is a huge step to healing. xoxo
The question at least for me is “Who is the source of peace, love, joy, comfort, contentment, salvation, identity and so much more?” Thank you for sharing your heart Susan. I am stopping by from the #31dayssurviors group.
Jolene, and so much more!!
The answer to all questions,
the sum of all our fears,
all counsels and suggestions,
through all the wasted years.
We offer Him our fealty,
and we become His proof,
clothed in all His beauty
from the cellar to the roof.
But pride so often holds us
and makes our hearts deny
in words serpentine and treasonous
that to truly live, we die.
Eternal gain is earthly loss,
for we must join Him on the Cross.
What is fealty?
It’s loyalty, as given to a king.
You are so much smarter than me!!!
Thanks for asking “Do you know Him?” Since like the most logical response for the week’s prompt…that all of us should have jumped on the chance to ask. (I did not.) And, yes, He is the answer. For everything.
He really is, Jennifer!
