Kate said present – but which one?
A noun? I live in the present. I gave my husband a present.
An adjective? I wanted to be present as my friend grieved.
A verb? I would like to present to you my Friend.
This past Thanksgiving we traveled to South Florida. We had three full days of family and friends. Yes, it was wonderful.
And, I was in the present every moment. I laid my phone down. I closed my laptop. I was in the present at all times. Being in the present was the best present I could be.
As the house began to welcome our family and friends on Thursday afternoon…
I was present and welcomed each one.
A verb shows action so today,
I hope to present to you my very Best Friend, the Lord Jesus Christ.
He is THE PRESENT. John 3.16
He is in The Present. Hebrews 13.8
He is Present in my life each and every day. Matthew 1.22-23
I hope He is present in yours.
