Kate said, “PRAISE!”
Kudos to Kate for her awesome graphics and today’s? Psalm 91? My favorite! Good work, Kate Motaung!
But saying it isn’t enough – is it? I don’t know about you, but I am a PRAISEr – a big time, holy-roller, Pentecostal praise the Lord kind of woman. There’s nothing shy or introverted about me when it comes to a good praise and worship session. My eyes are closed. My head is tilted heavenward. My arms are lifted as high as they will go and sometimes so wide my hubs has to gently push it back into my own space!
PRAISE!
O! He is worthy of our praise and adoration.
Praise has razed cities. Joshua 6.1-27
Praise has won battles. 2 Chronicles 20.20-23
God is so audacious that He even says,
Everything that has breath? PRAISE THE LORD! [Psalm 150]
So, here’s the question we ask ourselves today…
Are you breathing? Then, you better be praising!
This week’s Instagram posts using the Five Minute Free Writes:
Love this Sus! Got me up and dancing thru the house this cool fall morning! ❤️
YES!!!! A little Pentecostal dancing is good for the soul and the body!
Ah, yes! You and I… it sounds like we even praise and worship the same way! (We’d need a seat between us -but just for worship time!) 😉 xoxo
I can only imagine!!!
Yes – I went with >> “Let all that I am praise the Lord, with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me.” (Psalm 103: 1-2, NLT)
So many praise verses came to mind when I read the prompt. May we have a praise-filled Friday!
Might our lives be one continual anthem of PRAISE!
Beautiful words and practice to start the day. I’m praising all of our family is safe though they’ve suffered extensive damage to their home and vehicles. (They live in Panama City). We are grateful.
I understand, Deb. The real key is sacrificial praise – the what if praise. Blessings for “Joel” restoration.
Praise the Lord, oh my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name……He is worthy to be praised…
Oh Sandy, I know YOU get the whole breathing/praising thing!!!
Oh yes, so much to praise the Lord. A great reminder to start my day praising Him. Beautiful post!
Yes! If we’re breathing we better be praising!
Sounds like my kinda praise. Oh and I love the tweet. I’m breathing so I best be praising Him. Hugs!
Can we even remotely imagine what heaven will be like!!!
Love, love, love this, my dear friend. With a week away from home and my new hubby I needed this. LOL! Praising God for you and your inspiration.
Breathe, Praise. Breathe, Praise. Breathe, Praise. 😉
Love it!
Thanks, Mandy!
Hi, I’m here from FMF also #31. Praising should be natural, never holding back. Sounds like you!
Diane, I never hold back!
I can just picture you praising God in worship! 🙂
I’m the Spirit-filled lady on the second row worshiping with reckless abandon!
Amen, Amen, Amen!!!
YES! YES! YES!
So beautiful. I had to share and give God glory!! xoxo
Ah. Thanks BettieG.
I totally love this! I’m more the reserved praiser with a gentle sway back and forth and the occasional hands up. But I absolutely love this and I’m sure I’ll think of it Sunday morning when I’m praising and just might let loose and try it Susan’s way! After all I am breathing!
O! Sharon I do hope you did. This morning? It was all out PRAISE!!!
I love your excitement – and joy from praise – that is evidenced even in your writing! Have a praise-filled weekend!!
Thanks, Jennifer – the weekend is going quite well!!!
It’s funny; the worse I hurt, the happier I am, and that’s all God.
By Jove, I think you’ve got this!!!
Tried a different church Sunday — no praise in that one! How do people stay still and quiet when the Lord is in the house…or maybe He wasn’t in the house!
Back to my praising church next week!
Amen!!! “Praise Him in the morning, praise Him in the noontime, praise Him when the sun goes down!” He is worthy!! Love to you, dear sister and, of course, to Boyfriend!
Yes ma’am. And love to you two right back!
