Kate said possible
Such a great word. I’m thinking of all the possibilities. With this word, nothing seems impossible – anything is possible!
I know you see what I just did, right?
Do you know what that is? My husband is a competition black powder gun shooter. Back in the day, the mountain men would go out and check their traplines and they carried a “possibles bag.” This bag contained everything they thought they might need for a day out in the wild. Pretty cool, right? Yes, my husband has one – I believe he even made it himself.
There’s a possibles bag on his shoulder – sorry about the tiny photo.
Most women carry a possibles bag – but we call it a purse or pocketbook. I know when we travel, I keep a ton of “possible” items in my big bag. Scissors, nail clippers, nail file, tape measure, wipes, Advil, blank journal, coupons, etc. etc. etc.
Moms carry diaper bags – you better have everything in it possible!
I have learned
And, I have a lot of life experience – when we put our trust in the Lord, anything is possible. I belong to the God of possibilities. He can turn water into wine; ashes to beauty; blind to sight; death to life.
That last one? He is super good at. I know because I was dead in sin and He came along and gave me LIFE.
Possible? Heck, yeah!
What possible has He performed in your life?
