Susan prays…
Pierce the darkness and reveal Your Truth and Your Light on this whole covid mess. There’s more to it, Lord, than meets the eye. There is a darkness lurking behind the drapes of this virus. There is an enemy in the background smirking and devouring. Yes, Lord. Smirking and lurking. The enemy of our souls. Reveal Your healing power and come heal Your world, our land. Father God, Your Word says in 2 Chronicles 7: ‘When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.
Father God, Your people sense heaven is shut – for the righteous sake O Lord, heal our land. And, O Lord, let us rise from this as new people. Washed and restored to live for You – to be bold in and out of season. To no longer be patient with unspoken sin but that our very words shed The Light of our resurrected Savior.
I can be patient no longer.
In Jesus’ Mighty Name,
Amen
That is exactly what I did this morning. Prayed, I am not patient any longer. I will be vocal and stand up for what I believe in. There is hope in all of this because SONDAY IS COMING!
Sounds as though God’s warriors are RISING.
Wow!! I’ve been praying also Lord, please forgive us , heal our lands draw us closer to you. Open our eyes and hearts! Please ABBA we Need you more than ever
Another warrior rises. Amen.
Good morning Susan! So glad to be your FMF neighbor today. Thank you for your prayer.
Yes, Lord.
Susan, I wanted to share this with you immediately; it really happened last night, and the sonnet ‘wrote itself’ in uner a minute.
I’m not one to learn the Scripture;
my memory is not that good,
and it doesn’t paint the picture
that others say, for me, it should.
But last night I was feeling crook,
and Apostle Paul sat on my bed;
opening up the Holy Book,
he stayed with me the night and read
about a spirit not of fear,
but one of faith and love and hope,
and as the morning sun drew near
I knew, fair dinkum, I could cope
in patience with the days ahead,
for dying’s gain and not just ‘dead’.
It’s for me. Thank you dearest friend. You know how I feel about you and B. xoxo
And it’s how we feel about you.
First thing, I thought, “For Susan, with love.”
XOXOXO
Dang it. You’re making me have wet eyes.
Hoping this time of tragedy will stop us in our tracks, help us change direction And open us all to God’s healing grace.
Yes and amen. You are a pray-er so keep at it. Never say amen!!!
I am praying this time of quarantine/isolation is giving people time to pray and call out to God…re-centering their priorities perhaps. Either way…private time…quiet time …searching ones soul…and choosing Jesus will make this the best Easter for so many when satan is doing all he can do to ruin it!
He will lose, Sandy, may the plans of the wicked one be torn asunder. In Jesus’ Name.
Praying we emerge from this a people renewed and filled with the love of Jesus. Joining you in praying. May you and Lowell have a blessed Easter! xo
I pray so too, Jo’…
