If it’s Thursday night it must be PARTY TIME! A Twitter Party, that is. And, entry is free with hashtag fmfparty (#fmfparty). Last night was no exception – at these Twitter parties the mode is this: it starts out slow. You walk in and peruse the crowd and quickly read through what is being tweeted, you look for familiar faces to greet AND you look for newbies to welcome. Coming in for the first time is a tad intimidating BUT no need to be because we are all just a bunch of writing geeks and if you brave the crowd it means you are too – so NO worries. German Chocolate Cake made a brief appearance as we wished belated birthday wishes to Tara over on the prairie of South Dakota. I made my way over to Idaho and Marie who is preparing her very first book launch. Julie, our resident bicyclist gave us a report on her brother (prayers, please). Then I realized, Kate our host wasn’t in the room that I could see – but did finally make herself known! What’s five minute Friday without our fearless leader! And, then, what suddenly happens at this party is like a blur for this technically-challenged grandmother…the tweets start coming in 14 at a time and I can no longer keep up! Kate comes to the rescue with the one-word and slowly the room begins to empty – last night a hush came over the room as she announced:
Have you ever prayed for healing? Have you ever been prayed over for healing? Hands up all over the cybernet. There have been times I’ve begged God for someone’s healing only to watch them slip away. I’ve even been so bold to lay hands on the dead and ask God to raise them.
I’ve seen miraculous healing. I’ve been the recipient of a miracle. I’m praying for some miracles of healing right now.
A marriage or nine.
A man who chooses to eat grass with the herd.
A prodigal or 13.
A recurrence of cancer.
A chronic condition.
You see all of these require healing from The Master.
Four years ago my mom received her eternal healing and walked through the gates of heaven on the arms of her parents, Queen Esther, and Jesus. [Here.]
I received healing from a chronic condition called discontentment two years ago. [You can read about that here.]
Do you need healing?
Call The Doctor. Cry out to Him.
He will come.
