Kate said enable.
My very first thought was related to addictive behaviors. Like, co-dependent, enabler.
I’ve been both. I am not any longer.
I am not an addictive type – but I have enabled. And, I will never do that again.
Did You Know?
God is an Enabler! O! My! So much so.
And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry… 1 Timothy 1.12
Former Bad Girl
Yes, me. But when God got hold of me? He basically told me, “Now or never.” I chose NOW! The road ‘back’ was long but it was a successful trip.
Funny, when God speaks to me – He is quite relentless and I am so grateful for that.
When God Calls
He enables. God clearly called me to write in the 1990’s – and, at the same time He called, He enabled! I have never looked back. Now? I am co-dependent on Him, The Enabler.
Addicted?
Yep! I am – to living for Him and being a Hope Ambassador and a Truth Agent. Totally, co-dependent.
Steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15.58
Susan, I appreciate your positive declaration of being co-dependent on Christ, “I am co-dependent on Him, The Enabler. I am living for Him and being a Hope Ambassador and a Truth Agent. Totally, co-dependent.” (FMF #16)
Lisa, it is the absolute truth or I’d go hide under a rock!!!
Yes, God is the great enabler! I am so glad that he reaches out to us and is faithful in growing us more like him
Carol, we are most blessed!
Wonderful!
Isn’t HE wonderful?
Yes! God enables us in all the positive ways!! So glad!

I am so glad as well, Kym.
I once thought it was a fable,
what the Good Book said,
that the Lord God could enable
a rising from the dead,
but my doubt was pretence
so that I might not see
what eye-witnessed evidence
would demand of me:
a change of life and soul and heart
on acceptance of its truth,
so that I might play my part
and become, then, living proof
that a dim and pagan fool
could one day become God’s tool.
You are living proof of a gracious God who enables.
I have no idea what I would do without the Lord in my life. So very grateful for Him!
Jo’….you know I feel the exact same way. xo
Susan, I love your bits of testimony woven between the truths of who God is. I have never thought of Him as an enabler before, but with the way you share it? Thank goodness He is!
Amen, right?
Yes, God is the one we should be dependent on!
And, I so am!!!!
Yes and Amen Susan. Glory be to God our enabler. Blessings.
Visiting today from FMF#3
Good Monday morning, Paula! Hope your week is blessed.
Susan,
We think dependence is a bad word. Dependence upon God, however, is good thing. I NEED God’s enabling because apart from Him I can do nothing.
Blessings,
Bev xx
Bev, you and me both!!!
” I am co-dependent on Him, The Enabler”. Yup, me too!!
Totally and completely!!!
I have enabled and I will never do that again. All my hope is in Jesus! Thank yo so much for these encouraging words! He enables us to live out Titus 3:1 “To obey, to be ready for every good work.” Titus 3:1. I hope you have a wonderful day Susan!
I love that God always equips when he calls and enables us to do what seems impossible!
