Kate said DESIGN
A word prompt I like! I consider myself a designer of sorts. I love to create designs in our tiny house. Vignettes. Pretty doors. Word signs. Pillow designs. And, the list could go on and on.
I like to design with words so I write books. I like to design the books! The covers. The front pages. In fact I love to design books and have created 25+ of them! There are many online tools to help me design and I employ a lot of them.
The Great Design-er
Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. 2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made [designed]. Genesis 2.1-3
Our Eternal God is the Master of Design. And He does not make mistakes. If you are a breathing human being – you are His design. He knit you together in your momma’s womb – and you are designed exactly as He desired.
So…
Regardless of that cowlick in your hair, that freckle on your nose, the little limp to your gait – you are God’s design. He made you just the way He wanted. And He loves you just the way you are, not the way you think you should be.
That…you can take to the bank!
That…you can stake your life on.
That…will guide you all the way to glory when you call Jesus your Savior!
My Designer
My beloved.
Regarding: “And He loves you just the way you are, not the way you think you should be.” Yes, that is amazing love! Thankfully, he also sees us in Christ and has adopted us as his dear children. That makes a huge difference. He loved me before I loved him, even when I was not the way he designed me to be as a good image bearer. But, thankfully, he is transforming me by the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit. (Suggestion: you might want to add a “Like” button on your site, if it is possible.)
I would add it but I need to know how. Is it a plugin? Thanks for coming by Wayne.
I thought my life disaster,
and God said, “Hey, just smile!”
But I was Cleopatra
de queen of de Nile,
and I would not hear His words,
I was so wrapped up in mine,
and so He had to point me towards
what He meant, de sign
that He sent for all to see,
de Vine from which we grow,
de Light that He has made in me,
de tale He bade us know
of His Son’s de Lambination
on the Cross, for our salvation.
Now, this is quite clever Mr Budek!!!
One thing I appreciate about growing older is that I am more comfortable in my own skin. God created me, and I don’t have to dye my hair or cover up my freckles (or wrinkles 😉 ). I can have confidence in his love and purpose.
Good place to be, Anita. How are you feeling?
God as the Master Designer for sure! Thanks for the reminder that He made me just the way I am…flaws and all! Writing and creating is such a blessing! Glad we can share space in the blogosphere of Christian writers! Jennifer

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Galatians 3:26-27
We are all created in His image but not all are His. Only through / by faith in Christ Jesus. Amen.
“And He loves you just the way you are, not the way you think you should be” – this is like a warm hug 🙂 x
(((A very warm hug!)))
Is there any wonder that we are called to create? We were all created by the master Creator.
EXACTLY.
We all have flaws and it is just a Blessing that God loves us so unconditionally no matter what. Thanks for the reminder n love what Mr Budek wrote also.
