Kate said, “DEEP.”
Deep. What a word.
Okay. One word. Five Minutes. Essay on DEEP. (I’m thinking as I ramble-type.)
Jesus on the way to Samaria – remember He needed to go there. That’s what the NKJV said. He met one of my most favorite characters in The Word. Samantha from Samaria. A Samaritan. People of not high reputation. Kind of the “wrong side of the track” if you get my drift. But HE NEEDED TO GO THERE.
THERE she was at the well at the hottest time of the day to fill her water bucket.
THERE He was sitting.
Will you get Me a drink?
But sir, the well is deep and you have no cup.
RIGHT THERE, I tell you, is Truth.
Sam, short for Samantha from Samaria, spoke prophetically –
She was speaking to the WELL OF LIVING WATER and o! it is ever so DEEP. He is so deep it will take eternity to know the depths YET He is so relational that one can know Him and be set free at one sip of His Living Water.
The Well IS Deep – but He bids you come and drink!
