I almost felt like a stalker last night as I snuck into the party around 9:15. I tiptoed so no one would see me and kept very quiet until I saw a new person from NEPAL. What? I love the people of Nepal and have friends there. I had to say hi and welcome. And, then Tammy showed up and she never goes to the party – so of course I had to say hello to her. And, then Kristin, mentioned me by name – I was found out! Kate Motaung promptly announced the one word for the Five Minute write and I flipped closed my Kindle and went back to the show hubs and I were watching.
I didn’t have a vague idea of where this word would take me except God. Because after all…
A scientist requests a meeting with God. The brilliant scientist goes before Him and says, “God we don’t need you anymore. We have become self-sufficient. We can create life. We can do everything ourselves and have evolved to genius – matching you and your abilities.”
God answers him, “So you have come this far – alright then let Me see you make a human being, right here before my very eyes. But first I will make one. God reached down and picked up a handful of dirt and began shaping, and, bam – a man stood in front of them.
Now, it was the scientist’s turn. He reached down to scoop up some dirt…
God said, “WAIT A MINUTE, CREATE your own dirt.”
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1.1
All things were created by Him and there is nothing made that He didn’t make. John 1.3
