Kate said COST
Instantaneously, I know what I’m writing.
This past summer, hubs and I took an epic road trip to Alaska. We towed our 17′ camper behind us and it was, hands down, the.best.trip.ever.
It could have been the worst trip ever if we hadn’t…
Counted the COST
You see the trip had some unforeseen problems.
- A fender bender in Minnesota.
- A bent wheel knuckle that began eating tires.
- Cost of Canadian gas and supplies.
But, we were prepared
We brought plenty of cash. We brought Canadian dollars. We had a good no-balance credit card (for big emergencies like 4 new front tires in five weeks). We had food for a year in the camper pantry. We had a 5-gallon jerry can of fuel, just in case. We had warm and cold weather clothes.
Counted the COST!
For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it— Luke 14.28
Have you ever been caught short because you failed to count the cost?
