Kate said Conclude
The End.
Good-bye and good riddance.
Curtain call.
Stick a fork in me.
2020.
What a year
The year that was going to bring clear vision and it’s been one foggy ride from the git-go. My one-word 2020 is ABUNDANCE and although the year has been crapola – the Lord has shown up in abundant ways. Hubs and I have been healthy and quite content here in tiny house. I have managed to publish a couple of books. We succeeded in taking a few road trips and we were able to have an awesome, safe, healthy Thanksgiving with our family and friends in a beautiful AirBnB in Lake Worth, FL.
The only plague that got us is a cold that came upon us last week. We can still smell and taste so it is just a cold. We have eaten copious amounts of soup and supplements. We are smart and not stupid.
In Conclusion
2020 sucked. My heart breaks for loss of life, loss of jobs, loss of homes, and, loss of hope for many. We have no magic potions for 2021 – who knows what it will hold but I do know that I am going to seek the Lord harder and remain steadfast in my faith. And, every day I am going to remind myself that this world is not my home – we are but pilgrims passing through and heaven is on the other side.
If you don’t know that you know Jesus is your Savior and lives in your heart – today is the day. Do not let 2020 conclude without knowing Him.
For He says: … Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6.2
The end of the year is always a little bitter sweet, isn’t it? Although many would agree 2020 felt much more bitter than sweet. I’m not sure what to make of it all, but do trust God with. Blessings to you and your family in what remains of 2020.

Amie, BUT GOD…. amen?
Amen, Susan. Knowing Him is everything whether in a hard year or good year or something in between.
It’s the “only” thing. xo
Yes, I’m very ready for 2020 to be done, but of course there’s no certainty about 2021 either – except the certainty that matters most: that God is with us and will help us along the way!
The Only Certain Thing!
They say He’s in cathedrals
and TV preachers’ sets,
in hearts of chosen peoples
and high rollers’ Vegas bets.
He’s got a Rolex on His wrist
like the pastor in the sports arena,
and to meet Him people will insist
that you must be a little cleaner.
All of this may all be true,
and I’m no theologian,
but I’ll pass right on to you
an idea I’ve been floatin’
that God’s secret heart’s desire
is that you find Him in life’s mire.
He can be found anywhere and everywhere.
So thankful for my “alien” status. We have so much to look forward to! Blessings.

Aliens!!!! YES!
Aliens and strangers, looking up and keeping my eyes fixed in hope on the One who is the only hope for us all!
Fixed on HOPE – I’m right there with you, Sharon!
Amen! We just have to keep riding the coaster until it gets to heaven.
What a ride!
We can definitely agree that 2020 needs to be over. Clinging to my faith too.
Our faith will see us through.
You go Susan, you hit the nail on the head. I believe you summed up many peoples 2020. Many blessings to you.
