No Five Minute Friday party for me last night but I did dream about Kate Motaung and Kristin Hill Taylor — and we were actually discussing FMF – does that count? We were talking about bringing something back and Kristin and I looked at Kate and at the same exact time we said, “Return.” But, alas, that is not the word Kate said last night, instead she said…

When all is said and done…our greatest blessings are the ones we think about, pray for, live for and would die for. And, these are mine. My tribe, even the was-band at top right.
Added to this list should be my mom, grandma Emily and grandpa Harold, my sister and her fam, cousins, aunts and uncles, and a myriad of “others.” When I pray and do the “list” prayer of naming each person and my personal prayer for each one I always include “and, those You gave me, Lord.” There are probably too many to list.
Nina, Nicole, Susan, Jillian, Chris, Brian, Craig, Jessica, and on and on…
Each a blessing. Each one placed in my life for a reason and a ‘for such a time.’ Now, since 1997, the Lord has brought a whole new tribe into my life – an online tribe and they are huge blessings in my life – these are definitely too many to list. But, blessings, none the less.
I am blessed beyond anything I deserve.
My Father blesses me in spite of myself.
Yes, our family, and I’m glad you mentioned our online tribe. I wouldn’t be writing still if not for them. Visiting from FMF. Have a great holiday weekend with your blessings!
such truth.
Yes, I kind of got a little crazy with my post and started trying to list all my blessing, and my list was really long. I have been so blessed by Five Minute Friday and the friendships that I have made through it. I hope you have a lovely weekend!
Jolene to you as well!
Love our tribe!!
ME TOO!
Family is always at the top of my list of blessings. Love the picture of your tribe.
Thanks Deb!
Very cool. I know that this is such a special photo to have all of the family together in one big group. You are such a blessing too Susan. Love ya.
It hasn’t happened since – probably again at Simon’s high school graduation! xo
First, LOVE your dreams friend! I guess I’m not “cool” enough to make in them (hehe).
SECOND – Love your family photo!!!
THIRD – Your blessings make me smile 🙂
You’ll probably be in one tonight!!!
I’m still chuckling over the ‘was-band’ line ;). God does, indeed, bring people into our lives for specific reasons. I’m so glad you’re in my life!
Anita wish I could say WASBAND was my original word but alas, Tammy Mashburn said it one day and I made it mine!!!
Blessed indeed!
Indeed!
Thank you for focusing on people rather than things. God does indeed provide for us materially, but the greatest gift He gives, other than salvation, is that of relationships – even the hard ones!
Even the hard ones. xo
Such sweet blessings, these people HE joins us with! Loved your photo! And, I have been blessed to be getting “to know” you through these online connections!
Yes, we find blessings even on the world wide internet!
My greatest blessings are definitely my family! 🙂
Oh yes indeed.
YES! God is so generous with His blessings and they are quick to go unnoticed unless we stop and be still in them. So many more than we could ever imagine. He is so good!! Thank you for reminding us to pause and pay attention to these precious gifts.
I’ve been doing a lot of that pausing and paying attention lately, Jenn.
