Written in October 2008, but relevant today, we continue our series “Dark:Thirty” today with Part Three…
Enemy Beware!
O! WOW! Do I have good news for you today! Listen to this:
Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I WILL ARISE; when I sit in DARKNESS, the LORD will be a LIGHT to me. Micah 7.8
He (the Lord) will bring me forth TO THE LIGHT; I will see His RIGHTEOUSNESS…Micah 7.9d
Now, are you ready to do the Happy Hallelujah Dance with me? This is EXACTLY what we need to be declaring to Satan when he comes and accuses us.
When we find ourselves in those dark, desert places, our sweet Lord WILL lift us up and WILL shine His LIGHT toward us. God is faithful, my friends.
If you are in one of those desert places today, say this scripture out loud and build up your faith and hope in the One and Only Light…the Lord Jesus Christ! #hopechangeseverything

Love in Christ
Praying for his miracles
Shirley, always someone or something, amen? I will pray. Don’t lose hope.
Susan,
Micah 7:8 is the verse that God used to bring hope to me during divorce. It is a great tool in spiritual warfare. The enemy hates it when we are able to still place our hope in God when we face hard times.

Praying this post encourages many!

Thanks Sherry. I am seeing Micah 7.8 everywhere these days. xo
There is always light. It may be just a tiny glimmer at times, but in the darkness we need to look for the Light of Christ. He is always with us. Great post, Susan!
Blessings to you!
The necklace is beautiful Susan, what a great idea!
Dear Susan,
Oh, yes, that Micah verse is so very good in the midst of dark days! I have spoken it often, and I will speak it again, because Jesus IS my Light!! Thank you so much for this beautiful series, Susan. May you have a Blessed Thanksgiving! xo
Yes! He is the light. This time of year I always think of the song (and scripture) “Arise Shine for Thy Light Has Come.”
God is indeed faithful!
INDEED HE IS.
What a beautiful verse and promise, Susan! We get our strength to rise from the LIGHT!
He gives us the strength when we ask – amen!
These verses and your message also make me think of Romans 8:1- There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ! Amen!
Interesting, Bethany – good reminder! Thanks for reading and leaving a comment.
Out of the darkness and into His glorious light! Overwhelmed by this truth and my unworthiness — which is met by His great grace.
Blessings to you, Susan.
Blessings to YOU, MM. xo
