October 26, 2021 by admin 12 Comments

Word of The Year Normally, this time of year I begin to listen for that whisper telling me what word I should meditate on in the coming new year. I haven’t quite gotten my 2022 marching orders yet – but I do know how last year’s word has been a soothing balm during these precarious… [Read More]

31 Days October Our mom entered the gates of heaven on October 27, 2012 – for two years I floundered around not knowing how to be a girl without her mother. After all, I was 62 and she had been an integral part of my life – Saturday’s found me lost because in her older… [Read More]

September 28, 2021 by admin 10 Comments

Why a Quarterly Report If truth be told, and I am a truth agent, I do these for me.  I like to look back at the three months and take inventory, per se. But, this third quarter of 2021 was admittedly one of the worst periods of my life. I was quite unwell. July The… [Read More]

Water Restrictions

September 21, 2021 by admin 18 Comments

Water Restrictions “Drink more water!” “Stay hydrated.” “Drink half your body weight in ounces!” And, the list goes on. But, when I left the hospital with the diagnosis of congestive heart failure I was told to limit my daily liquid intake to 71 ounces. When you start tracking your sips, that isn’t much.
